THE ACCESSIBLE RECORD INDEX
The list follows search and topic filters across all eras; the scene shows the selected time window.
No matching records. Try a broader term or reset the filters.
How to read this map: dates, evidence, and relationships
The horizontal axis is time in years. Topic lanes are editorial groupings; catalog titles use keyword matching, not a claim about an author's identity or a causal lineage. A column groups records in a year interval. Height encodes log-scaled record count. Wide views use larger time bins; filtered close views expose individual records.
Year, month, day and interval precision remain visible in the detail panel. Points are placed at year buckets; a year-only record does not assert January 1. Claimed-event dates remain distinct from source-publication dates. Unknown dates are excluded from the axis and remain searchable in the list. The best-available mode prefers an event/claimed date, otherwise the publication date; the selected basis is always labeled.
No lines connect neighboring historical records. A selected relationship card shows only the named, source-cited subject → predicate → object. Contextual testimony, disputed allegations, institutional assessments and hypothetical book scenarios keep their own evidence labels. A record about a scenario marks its publication, not an event that occurred.
Canvas uses a genuine perspective projection with an orbiting camera and no WebGL dependency. Nothing auto-rotates. Reduced motion and narrow screens start in 2D, and the list works independently of graphics. This timeline contains source-linked metadata and original summaries, not archived article bodies.
